We proudly lend our support to various missions, both near and far. We extend an invitation for you to join us in making a difference for these commendable causes.
Bistro 163 is an award winning non-profit “pay it forward” restaurant located in Port Clinton, Ohio.
Started in June of 2016 by members of Firelands Church, today this 5 star rated community café has become an ecumenical food ministry. 45% of meals served are given away free of charge.
Diners who are able to do so pay more than the suggested menu price so that others less fortunate may enjoy a meal.
Free Community Dinners are also provided on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each Month.
You are welcome to contribute by dining, donating, or volunteering at Bistro 163.
All are welcome!

Bob Reynolds
The Emergency Food Pantry for the United Way in Ottawa County is located inside Firelands Church.
Bob Reynolds oversees this program, although several other people help with purchasing and distributing fresh food to those in our community with urgent need.

Since July of 2015, members of Firelands Church have delivered more than 280 beds to children in our county identified by the United Way.
Along with a twin size bed and fun bedding, children receive handmade pillowcases donated by A Case for Smiles (www.caseforsmiles.org).
Members of St. John Lutheran Church (www.stjohnlutheranpc.com) also help with deliveries at times.
You are welcome to participate in this heartwarming outreach to the kids in our community.
Sweet dreams for a good night's sleep.

Project Linus: Loving Warmth
16 ladies, most of them members of Firelands Church, make quilts and blankets each year to donate through Project Linus.
This mission of our church has been going on for 16 years under the leadership of Maxine Wilson, and more than 2000 quilts and blankets have been contributed to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Akron Children’s Hospital.
If you like to sew or knit or crochet, please join us! You do not need to be a member of Firelands Church to participate in this very worthwhile effort.
Firelands Church can be counted upon to support community projects, such as those being led by the Salvation Army or the Holiday Bureau.
Donations of coats, mittens, toys, supplies are all contributed by members of the church.
Ringing the Salvation Army bell is a favorite way for Firelands members to “give back” to the community.
